Managed and assured the efficient and profitable operation of a company-owned service centre with a Profit and Loss responsibility of $2.5 Million. Certified, trained, managed and co-ordinated a network of 100+ independent and company-owned service centers in Canada. Created, managed and directed the National Technical Support Group which provided training and technical assistance to a national network of dealers and service centers.

• Prepared manufacturing reports and made production process recommendations to the Engineering Department regarding SCADA system (Computer-Based Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Systems) resulting in a 15% increase in productivity.

• Prepared and modified technical drawings, compiled experimental data and designed support equipment.

• Performed troubleshooting of advanced data communication equipment at component level, ensuring compliance with customer and company specifications and government standards.

• Installed and documented procedures for testing sub-assembly circuit boards at high speed with automatic test equipment (ATE), trained assembly line personnel in the use of manual and automatic testing equipment, and wrote testing procedures for the manufacturing facilities.

• Calibrated, tested and compiled experimental information from state-of-the-art data communication equipment to meet DOC and FCC standards.
